Its important centers are the Nishi Hongan-ji and Higashi Hongan-ji temples in Kyoto. A distinctive feature of Jodo Shinshu (True Pure Land Buddhism) is the belief in salvation through the vow of Amida Buddha. By chanting the nembutsu, "Namu Amida Butsu," followers express their faith. Due to its simplicity and widespread acceptance, Jodo Shinshu has become a familiar and accessible sect for many Japanese people. Jodo Shinshu prayer beads typically have 108 beads, representing the 108 earthly desires or delusions. These beads are used to deepen one's faith in Amida Buddha, following the teachings of Jodo Shinshu. A notable feature is the inclusion of two additional beads known as "parent beads," which mark the end of the loop. The beads often have intricate tassels (known as "hous") at the ends. π¨ CHECKOUT π¨ Please check your address before paying because we can ONLY ship to addresses that are entered before placing the order. π¨ SHIPPING π¨ Packages usually leave our warehouse within 10 days of payment.
